Let’s now quickly go through each of the 16 Champions League games taking place this week with and give you our tips for each. All games kick off at 8pm UK time unless otherwise stated.

Champions League Matchday 4 – Tuesday 24th November

Krasnodar v Sevilla (5.55pm)

Sevilla will know a win here would confirm their place in the knockout phase and leave them with a battle with Chelsea for top spot in the group. The Spanish side battled back from 2-0 down in the home leg to win 3-2 /, despite playing the second half with ten men, but I think they will find things a little more straightforward on the road where they can counter attack more effectively.

Tip – Don’t expect many goals here but those that do go in should go the way of Sevilla – 13/20.

Rennes v Chelsea (5.55pm)

Chelsea ran out comfortable 3-0 winners in the home game between these teams and while Rennes will be tougher on the road, the French side have struggled in this competition this season with just one point so far. They may score a goal against Chelsea this time around, but I still expect the in-form English side to take the three points.

Tip – It won’t be as easy away from home for Chelsea, but I still back them to win – 8/15.

Borussia Dortmund v Club Brugge

Dortmund won the return fixture 3-0 in Belgium a couple of weeks ago and all three of those goals came in the first half. I would be hugely surprised if the German side do not match or exceed that margin of victory at home.

Tip – Dortmund smashed five at the weekend, they could do the same here too. – 2/7.

Dynamo Kyiv v Barcelona

Barcelona have had their troubles this season in La Liga but have performed more consistently in Europe. Kyiv made it hard for them in the Nou Camp though and I expect them to do likewise here in the Ukraine, but even so Barcelona have more than enough quality to edge to a crucial win.

Tip – Expect a tricky night for Barcelona, but I still expect them to land a win – 8/13.

Juventus v Ferencvaros

Juventus were 4-1 winners when the teams played a couple of weeks back in Hungary. I cannot see anything other than a similar scoreline here for the Italian Champions. This should be as certain a home win as you will see in the Champions League.

Tip – This should be a home banker for Juventus as the odds suggest – 1/9

Lazio v Zenit St Petersburg

Lazio earned a creditable 1-1 draw in St Petersburg when these two teams last met and I think in Rome, with warmer temperatures, the Italian side should have enough quality to win this game.

Tip – Lazio at home should be strong enough to claim the win here. – 3/4

Manchester United v Istanbul Basaksehir

United’s 2-1 loss to Istanbul last time out has thrown this group wide open. Another defeat here for United could see all four teams in this group on six points with two games left to play. However, I would expect at home United to come through and clinch an important win.

Tip – Back United to gain revenge for that poor defeat in Turkey – 1/4.

Paris St Germain v Red Bull Leipzig

Red Bull were 2-1 winners when the teams met a couple of weeks back but before that PSG won 3-0 in the Champions League semifinal. With Mbappe back, PSG should have much more attacking threat and I fancy them to snatch a narrow but important win here.

Tip – PSG lost in Germany, but I think with Mbappe back, they get their revenge here – 8/13.

Place an eightfold accumulator on the eight results predicted above for Tuesday night’s Champions League and you could get odds of 19.63/1 on that bet. That means a £10 stake would return you £196.30.

Champions League Matchday 4 – Wednesday 25th November

Borussia Moench v Shakhtar Donetsk (5.55pm)

Borussia smashed Shakhtar 6-0 in the Ukraine last time out in one of the more unexpected results of the tournament so far. The German side remain in good form and it would be a huge surprise if they did not follow that up with another win here.

Tip – Borussia were easy winners in Ukraine, back them to do the same at home. – 1/2.

Olympiakos v Manchester City (5.55pm)

City were easy winners in the home tie between these two teams winning 3-0, but I think their form of late has been so patchy, especially on the road. Olympiakos are tough for any team to face at home and I think the best City can hope for here given their erratic performances of late, is a draw.

Tip – City were easy winners in Manchester but this could be tough. Back the draw at 9/2.

Ajax v Midtjylland

Ajax earned a big win in Denmark in the last game in this group, defeating their opponents tonight 2-1. They must back that result up with another win here if they are to stand a chance of qualifying from this group which also includes Liverpool and Atalanta.

Tip – Ajax battled to a good win in Denmark. They should get the win here too – 3/10

Atletico Madrid v Lokomotiv Moscow

Diego Simeone’s men are always very dangerous in this competition and always hard to beat. They earned a draw in Moscow but I am confident that at home and with some key players back, they should be able to land the win here.

Tip – If Atletico can beat Barcelona at home, they can do the same to Moscow – 1/5.

Bayern Munich v FC Salzburg

A late salvo of goals saw Bayern claim a big win in Salzburg and the current European Champions are looking strong once again in Europe, even though they have slipped up a couple of times domestically. They should win this one in another high scoring encounter.

Tip – Bayern were easy winners in Austria, they should be again here. 2/11.

Inter Milan v Real Madrid

With Borussia Moench, likely to take a stranglehold of this group, it is vital for one of these teams to win this game. Real won the last game 3-2 on home but their record in Italy is very poor with just 2 draws and six defeats in eight games against Inter at the San Siro. As such, I am backing Inter to claim a revenge win here.

Tip – Another close one I reckon, but take Inter to land a narrow win at 21/20.

Liverpool v Atalanta

Diogo Jota’s hattrick inspired Liverpool to a stunning 5-0 win over Atalanta when the teams met in Italy a few weeks ago. I don’t think the Italians will be quite so easy to beat this time around but with Liverpool’s superb home record, they should pick up the win which will qualify them for the next phase of the competition.

Tip – This should be a Liverpool home win at 13/20.

Marseille v FC Porto

Marseille have performed poorly in this competition but they are not as bad as their results suggest when you look at their form domestically. Porto are Man City’s closest challengers in this group but I think the most likely result here is a score draw.

Tip – Back the draw here at 9/4

You can back the eight games on Wednesday with bet365 as an eightfold accumulator bet and with the selections above, this would pay out at odds of 166.2/1, which means a £10 stake could see you win £1662.
