Wild Water Slot Review
I must admit, I do look forward to seeing what NetEnt come up with next in their quest to find the perfect slot. Usually you can be assured of a high quality game that packs in a number of features across 20 or so paylines and once again, that is the formula that the site has followed for its latest game, Wild Water. Not another surf/beach themed slot I hear you say? Well, this is slightly different to the rest as the developers have set the game in the 1960s, so it’s the height of hippy culture and flower power you’ll encounter here.
What you have here is a slot that offers the standard NetEnt set up for a game. There’s 20 fixed paylines in play and you can adjust the number of coins you wager on a payline using the Coin Value meter from $0.01 up to $0.50. You can also increase the number of coins you wager on a payline by increasing the Level value from 1 through to 10 which equates to 1 to 10 coins being wagered on each payline. That gives you a minimum bet value of £0.20 and a maximum bet value of £100.
What you will notice about the symbols on the reels is that the five different surfer symbols are all Super Stacked on the reels. This means that each individual symbol can cover an entire reel. This of course offers the potential for multiple payline wins from a single spin. The highest value symbol however is the lone surfer symbol which is not stacked but which offers a payout of 2000 coins if you can land five of these on a payline across the reels. Wild Water is available to play right now at Bet365 Vegas.
Wild Water Key Features
There are a number of features available in the Wild Water slot which you should be aware of and the first of these is the Wild symbol which is the fearsome looking Shark. This can replace any of the standard symbols on a winning payline to create the biggest win possible and they appear on any real in the main game.
There are also two base game bonuses that you can trigger each of which offers you a bonus payout based on your standard stake. The Surf’s Up Bonus is triggered when you land any of the five surfer symbols stacked on all five reels. When you achieve this (and it must be the whole symbol on each reel, not just part of a symbol) then you will win a cash prize of 20x your bet.
In the Surf Team Bonus however, if you can get one of each of the five Super Stacked Surfer Symbols on the reels in full on any single spin, then the amount of your multiplier increases from 20x to 200x your stake which can represent a very lucrative payout, especially if you are playing for higher stakes.
The male surfing a wave is the in game Scatter symbol and if you land three, four or five of these you will win a cash prize as well as triggering the Free Spins bonus feature. Three scatters gives you 15 free spins, four gives you 30 and if you can land all five on the reels on a single spin it is 60 free spins. To further enhance your chances of a big win during free spins, the Shark Wild symbol turns into an Expanding Wild, which can expand across the reels when it is landed to create additional payline wins and if you can land multiple of these symbols then some really sizeable wins are possible during the bonus feature.
What you have here is a typica NetEnt slot that takes the basic for a slot and then builds a decent game and some excellent bonus features into it. The way the game uses the Stacked Symbols in the base game and the addition of the expanding wild in the free spins round, really does give the slot an added edge and makes it enjoyable to play, even if it is a little cheesy at times.
